Every little ingredient in our dog and cat food is chosen to provide our four legged friends with the best conditions for a helathy life. In carefully developed recipes theycreate magic together. But what is the benefit for each individual ingredient?

Alfalfa

Alfalfa is a plant from the pea family that is rich in iron, magnesium, calcium and selenite. It also contains vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin K.

ANISE

One of our oldest healing herbs, it has a positive effect on the digestive system.

APPLE

Apples are a good source of fiber and contain vitamins A and C.

BILBERRY

A true health-berry! bilberries are rich in antioxidants and protects against free radicals. Stuffed with vitamin C, vitamin A, potatssium and carotenes

CAMOMILLE

A beautiful herb that has anti inflammatory properties and supports healthy digestion.

CARROT

Carrots are an excellent source of fiber and minerals. Also a good natural source of beta-carotene, an antioxidant that is necessary to neutralize free radicals.

CHICKEN

A protein source with both good taste, digestibility and biological value. In other words, a protein source that the body can absorb and satisfy to a very high degree!


CHICKPEAS

Source of fibre and essential antioxidants.

CINNAMON

Supports and even bloodsugar level and can potentially rise the resistane to insulin. It is also antibacterial and good for stomach issues. Worried about cinnamon? Monster contains small amounts that arent harful to your pet.

CRANBERRY

Rich in vitamin C, zinc, iron and folic acid. Also contains very many good antioxidants.

COPPER

Copper is essential for the blood formation. Its also important for the joints and for the elasticity of the skint.

DEER

A ingredient that contributes with good taste and high-quality protein.

Dried Brewer's Yeast

A natural source of B vitamins, selenium and important amino acids.

DUCK

An excellent source of high queality protein and fatty acids.

 

Egg

Dried, whole eggs (minus shells) are often added to pet food to increase the biological value of the protein.

EGGSHELL POWDER

Eggshell powder is finely ground eggshell and is a natural source of calcium. Calcium benefits the skeleton and joints.

Helps with creting and maintaining the bacterial balance in the bowels, and supports firm feaces.

FENNEL

Healthy! A natural source of fibres. Vitamin C, folic acid and minerals, such as iron.

FERMENTED RICE

Fermented rice works as a natural preservative and gives a nice color.

FISH MEAL

Fish meal is like fresh fish but without the water. Rich in energy, nutrition and protein.

Fish oil

Fish oil is an excellent source of Omega 3 and 6. It also gives a great taste!

Fructooligosaccharides

Food for the good bacteria in order for them to become more. Supports a healthy digestion and bowel.

GLUCOSAMINE

A nutrient that supports the rebuild of cartilage and supports healthy joints and mobility.

IODINE

The right amount of iodine is essential to make sure the thyroid is fully functiona, and for the production of thyroid gland hormones..

KRILL

Krill is a shrimp-like crustacean that contains a lot of Omega 3 and 6 which supports a healthy skin and fur. It is also rich in antioxidants.

 

L-CARNITINE

Contributes to a natural fat burning and preserves muscle mass. L-carnitine is an amino acid in free form and therefore readily available for the body to assimilate.

LAMB

High-quality animal proteins and fats provide the best conditions for healthy skin and fur.

LINGONBERRY

Lingonberry contains plenty of organic acids, vitamins A, B and C and trace elements. The berries also contain phytochemicals, which are good for the urinary tract.

Linseed

Rich in fiber and therefore good for stomach and intestines.

Linseed oil

Contains Omega 3 and vitamin E, vitamin E is a significant antioxidant.

MANGANESE

Important part in the absorption of carbohydrates and protein.

Marigold

Anti-inflammatory.

MULBERRY

Contains a lot of vitamin c and antioxidants, also a good source of iron and calcium. 

Nettle

Contains important vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin A, C, magnesium, calcium and iron.

OATS

Oats are a low glycemic type of grains without gluten and is also good for the digestive system. A mild and slow carbohydrate that provides long lasting energy.

ORANGE

We bet you already knew that oranges are high in vitamin C, but its also an excellent source of calcium, folic acid and fibres.

PARSLEY

Contains a wide range of important vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. A real super spice!

PEA

Peas are an excellent source of protein and fiber. They are a great representative of the “green” vegetable group. 

PEAR

Pears are an excellent source of pectin and water-soluble fiber.

PUMPKIN

Very good source of fiber and plant-based source of potassium and magnesium.

ROSEHIP

Rich in vitamin C and also contains a lot of vitamin A which contributes to a stronger immune system. Packed with antioxidants!

SALMON OIL

Salmon is one of the best sources of fish oil because it is so fatty. The omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, which are found in the oil, are especially important for the heart and blood vessels, eyes, brain and nervous system. The omega3 fatty acids also benefit the articular cartilage.

SEAWEED

Source of several useful vitamins, minerals, good Omega3 fats and antioxidants.

SELENIUM

Selenium is a mineral and an antioxidant. It protects the cells and promotes the immune system.

Spirulina

Strengthens the immune system and boosts skin and fur. Rich in vitamins and antioxidants

SUGAR BEET FIBERS

Is a natural product with fiber extracted from sugar beet (but contains – despite the name – no sugar). Sugar beet fibers help move food through the intestines, which are broken down by the stomach bacteria and nourish intestinal wall cells. This leads to better absorption of nutrients.

SUNFLOWER

Sunflower oil is obtained by extracting the oil from sunflower seeds. It can by definition not contain more than 3% impurities. The oil provides your pet with the calories needed for energy and the essential fatty acid alpha-linoleic acid (an omega-6 fatty acid) which is necessary for a shiny coat and healthy skin.

SWEET POTATO

Sweet potatoes are an excellent source of complex carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and beta-carotene. The starch in sweet potatoes is easily converted to sugar and provides fast energy.


Taurin

An essential, a really important, amino acid for both cat and dog.

TURKEY

Turkey is an ingredient that most pets can eat without reacting. Turkey is a high quality source of protein and can is easily absorbed by your pet.

TOMATO

Whole tomatoes are an excellent source of vitamin C and are especially rich in carotenoid lycopene which is an important antioxidant.

VENISON

A gentle and tasty source of protein. Venison is rich in protein and iron.

WHITE FISH

An ingredient that is very kind to the stomach with high biological value.

White fish meal

A source that is gentle on the stomach for protein and also important vitamins and minerals.

Yucca SCHIDIGERA

Yucca is a plant with health effects and it originally comes from New Mexico. Yucca has anti-infective effects and reduces joint infection symptoms. The plant contains several physiologically active phytochemicals, such as bioactive compounds. In dog food, the plant is mainly used to reduce the smell of feces.

Zinc

Zinc is a mineral that is important for many functions in the body. Among other things for building up skin and fur. It also promotes the body’s absorption capacity of vitamin A.
